Diets
It’s no surprise that I love food. I love cooking and baking and eating. I love sharing a good meal with family and friends. I love the ritual of it all. It’s wonderful.
So you can understand my mystification with people that buy hcg and can actually stick to the diet long enough to lose weight. But there are people that can, and do. There are people that can actually limit themselves to 500 calories a day and inject themselves with hormones. There are people that lose hundreds of pounds on this type of diet.
I read a blog once about a woman that was on an hcg diet. She talked about how she had tea for breakfast, toast for lunch, and a very sensible dinner. She told us all about how much she loved it, how good she felt shedding the weight. And to her, I say congratulations. She certainly has more will power than I do.
Not that I’m super unhealthy or anything. I know I need to shed a few, but there are things that I know I’m doing right: I only drink water (and occasionally skim milk) and I almost always get in three fruits and vegetables a day. I always take the stairs at work. I just need to work out more.
So, if you buy hcg and it’s working for you, I say keep going. For now, I’m going to try and eat better and exercise more. We’ll see how that works.
