Thanksgiving Colors

Don’t you love the colors used on bulk Thanksgiving cards?  The colors are so warm and inviting, especially since it is the time of year where the cold is setting in and people are starting to bundle up more.  For some reason there is a high predominance of black in the winter.  It makes sense with the inclement weather and trying to prevent obvious stains from slushy snow or mud puddles.  At the bleakest time of the year though, you would think people would want to spruce up the color to counteract the more dismal or bleak setting.  There is a certain beauty to winter that can be greatly appreciated, but the warm colors of bulk Thanksgiving cards are really inviting.  Who doesn’t like knowing they are appreciated for who they are or what they do?  Plus, if they are Thanksgiving cards for business friends, it gives a good excuse to add the card to the office decor and bring in a little brightness.  Could be a nice preventative measure to those January and February sunshine blues that make people a little crankier than normal.  Besides, if a Thanksgiving card manages to stay up in an office all the way until February, you know they must have liked the card a lot.
