New Jersey Haunted Houses
Who would have ever dreamed that people would pay good money to be scared? Believe it or not, the haunted house industry is alive and well, despite the fact that they are sometimes terrifying. People love to be scared.
Last year, I took our church youth to one of the New Jersey haunted houses. It was so much fun, everyone talked about the experience for weeks after. In fact, the youth made us promise that we would make going to one of the New Jersey haunted houses each year a tradition.
So following a tradition, I am now searching the venues that I want to take our youth to for this Halloween season. I am trying to choose between the Field of Terror at K&S Farms, or the Allenwood General Store Haunts. There are so many haunted houses to choose from, and I have heard great things about both. I think our youth would have fun in the corn mazes, and I probably could make it a learning experience as well. I can also see that they would enjoy the hayride of terror. I think I am learning towards the Field of Terror because there are a couple of events that are covered with the entrance fee. I’m going to take my camera for sure this year. I want to have evidence to prove that our youth do get scared!
